About Us

This project was created with a clear goal — to make SQL learning more structured and understandable. The Dataryxys team has worked with databases across different projects and often encountered learning materials that were either overly complex or too basic. This created a gap between theory and real-world application.
At the beginning, working with SQL felt like dealing with disconnected commands without a clear structure. Over time, it became evident that the main challenge is not syntax, but the way of thinking about data. This idea became the foundation for building courses that focus not only on writing queries but on understanding data logic.
The mission of this project is to help others go through this learning process in a more organized way. The materials are designed so that each step naturally leads to the next. The focus is on clarity, structure, and practical understanding.
The course author is Ihor Kovalenko
a Database Systems Analyst with over 8 years of experience in working with databases. During this time, he has worked with a wide range of data structures, from smaller systems to complex multi-layer solutions. His experience includes database analysis, query optimization, and building structured data workflows.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with teams working in data analysis, information processing, and internal system development. This provided a deeper understanding of how SQL is used in different environments.
Over the years, he has helped many learners understand databases and develop a structured approach to SQL. His main focus is explaining complex topics in a clear and simple way while maintaining logical structure.
His full background includes experience in database design, large-scale data analysis, and SQL optimization. He has also contributed to the development of educational materials designed for gradual learning.
This course is the result of combining practical experience with the intention to create a clear and structured learning system.
